Born in a bedroom in Mission, British Columbia, Western Jaguar is the ever-evolving musical endeavour of multi-instrumentalist, Jeffrey Trainor. Taking influence from artists such as Foals, Death Cab For Cutie and Petey, Western Jaguar’s sonic footprint creates an unmatched mix of indie rock, dream pop and shoegaze. Western Jaguar has drawn comparisons to artists such as Nada Surf, Slowdive, Real Estate and Band Of Horses. Western Jaguar is a five-time Fraser Valley Music Aware nominee and the winner of the 2019 “Live Performer of the Year” category. Western Jaguar has built a reputation as an authentic live performer and has been heralded for a “signature reverb-heavy sound.” Western Jaguar is a welcome addition to any lineup, music festival or playlist.
